GM181 SMART BATTERY CHARGER
INTRODUCTION
The GM 181 Battery Charger is an intelligent charger intended to cater for a wide variety of battery charger faults that may occur. The specification is developed from an original requirement of the NSW Fire Brigade, and refined as the needs of a large and diversified truck fleet evolved. Central to the charger's operation is the need to be able to charge either 12V or 24V trucks from the same unit, which is achieved with a microprocessor control system, to implement charging and fault monitoring. The pan bracket assembly allows easy wall mounting of the unit.
